Handyman for fences and backyard cleaning

I have an office job but after doing a lot of work in my own backyard, I am playing with the idea of starting a side gig that I could probably do every weekend to start with..

I want to focus on fences (alignment, replacement etcc...not really confident to do more landscaping work).

I was thinking of creating an account on thumbtack in my area to see if there is a market. Do you have any experience around this for someone new? Any advice

Foreign marriage - Prenup clause

We were married in another country back and we signed for "Separation of assets" (also written on the marriage certificate), basically that everyone will keep her assets in case of divorce. In my state, they add everything and split between the couple. The problem is I bought the house and has been the one paying for it since them...

Do I have a chance to keep my house?

Your best tips and lesson learned when dealing with CS?

Some of us are very new to this world and we don't even know what question to ask! We want to support our kids, which is a huge responsibility in a uncertain world (people get fired and lay off...). What are some things that has helped you cope with this situation?

I will go first: Child support amount starts accumulating from the date of filing for divorce and you should be ready to pay those when the divorce is finalized.

Complex Case - Wife left for another state with kids

Been married to her for the last 16 years, but we had a lot of issues. Recently, she decided that she will leave to go back to another state we used to live. I told her that means we will have to divorce, but she said she doesn't care.

Right at the end of school, she packed the 5 kids and left with them. In the last month, I have trying to convince to come back, asked my family to speak to her and all...

I am sure she will apply for welfare and SNAP for sure in NY. When I tried to her that we will have more problem when she does, she said that she will never ask them to after me. On the CS website, they said they "might" open their own case even when the parent doesn't ask for it. She doesn't know a lot about the law, as an immigrant!

I want to avoid putting her on defensive by filling first, but at the same time I feel like initiating my give me some advantage (based in Indiana). In the state calculator, it says that zero when I enter 50/50 time split, otherwise about $2100 per month.

With my current income, I will not probably be able to save a dime for the next 15 years, I would love to keep my house (she never put a dine in it, never even mow the lawn once in the last 6 years).

I booked a consultation with an attorney, and I would love some insights. I can't imagine that my financial life is over considering how many years I have life in workforce (49 years)....
