Someone out there right now is debating on a budget bike or spending an extra 2-600 on a better bike or WHATEVER. I’m telling you right now spend that extra damn money. Because if you even like mountain biking a little bit you’ll get pretty good fast and you’ll quickly realize all the components on your bike suck ass and need to be upgraded then you’ll end up spending the same amount or more than the better bike and dealing with headaches. Sincerely, someone who will be upgrading bikes soon….after upgrading most the components already

Can I swap out my derailleur for a better one without upgrading the whole drivetrain? I have sram SX drivetrain and it sucks ass for shifting. My bike is older and I don’t really want to drop too much money on it, rather upgrade to a better bike in the future.
