Put the flip chip back in the short position but now one side of my pads is rubbing very bad. Feel like there’s added tension in the line. Cant tell if I forgot something in the process or the cable is in the wrong orientation. Pls help
Does anyone remember xlife? Was or maybe still is a Japanese? Fixed gear company and I swear they had a 9t Bmx style hub that was fixed gear I had on this bike or maybe I’m remembering it completely wrong idk but I miss this bike
Found this rolled up piece of paper in one of the empty bolt locations, I guess they ran out of the cheap plastic plugs lol. Would be nice if they sent bikes with bolts on them instead of plastic plugs or empty holes for water to get into
Looks like the casing is starting to show in between the knobs, should I be concerned? They aren’t even that old
So my UDH is bent and will be replaced but I took this pic before removing anything. Does the derailleur also look fucked? It’s pretty far out of alignment but was just installed a few weeks ago and I really don’t want to buy another one

Someone out there right now is debating on a budget bike or spending an extra 2-600 on a better bike or WHATEVER. I’m telling you right now spend that extra damn money. Because if you even like mountain biking a little bit you’ll get pretty good fast and you’ll quickly realize all the components on your bike suck ass and need to be upgraded then you’ll end up spending the same amount or more than the better bike and dealing with headaches. Sincerely, someone who will be upgrading bikes soon….after upgrading most the components already
Can I swap out my derailleur for a better one without upgrading the whole drivetrain? I have sram SX drivetrain and it sucks ass for shifting. My bike is older and I don’t really want to drop too much money on it, rather upgrade to a better bike in the future.
