I’ve seen this guy as long as I can remember at this corner (maybe even since last fall), but today he’s waving some long sharp object around and acting erratically. Has anyone else had experiences with him? Is he cool or should he be avoided?
In the past month I've become really interested in climate zones and the Köppen maps. However, I've come across a lot of pretty big disagreements among the maps. Just as an example, the ones shown on Wikipedia place Carlsbad, New Mexico firmly in BSk, while the interactive Köppen climate explorer places it in BWh or BWk (near the border). I'm under the impression that both of these use very precise data, narrowing it down to a 1 square kilometer area. So, why the disagreement? What is the true climate of Carlsbad? If I want to know the climate of an area, what is the absolute best way to find out? Thanks for everyone's help!
So I'm going to be living at Orchard Park next year, and looking through the significant dates, I noticed that it said Moove-in is on September 1. This seems incredibly early to me, given that the academic year doesn't start for weeks after that. I do not live in Davis, so moving up here three weeks early would cut off a very significant portion of my summer break. Does anyone else have experience with this? Is there a way to request a later Moove-in date?
This is genuinely the best meal at UC Davis and it’s a shame they don’t serve it every day!
