• U2F support: Wrong. Proton has supported U2F/FIDO2 hardware keys since 2023
• No third-party captcha: Proton has their own CAPTCHA

Features in Basic Paid Account

• Catch-all: Wrong. Available on all Proton paid plans including entry-level Mail Plus
• Multi-user support: Misleading. Proton Duo, Family, and Business plans all offer this; definitional sleight of hand
• Encrypted calendar: Wrong. Proton Calendar is E2EE and available on the free plan

Usability

• Offline support: Partially outdated. Mobile offline mode launched September 2025; desktop criticism remains fair
