What do I do next?
So there is this one girl who had a crush on me just 2 months after starting my freshman year in college. She was very attractive, fairly tall for a girl (I'm taller though lol), long hair, cute face, and good outfits on no-uniform days. and for a year she stalked me on my profiles, added me on her dump account first, then I did the favor and added her to her main (which she accepted immediately), she would randomly react to my posts (even if I didn't put it on my profile feed) and doesn't make eye contact on me even if we pass right next to each other on campus.
Though while this was happening, I already had a partner a few months after she knew about me during our freshman year, but I won't go too much into details. Just recently we broke up because we've been dealing a situationship for so long. You can probably guess where this is heading...
I went to the library, finish our research paper, and found her, alone sitting in a couch, then I approached her and from my eyes, she was a bit surprised and nervous (which she later admitted), I asked her how did she found out about me even though we have no mutuals or in the same Major, which she responded with "I heard your name from my classmate who knew your name through one of your friends from my department", I was like "woah... this is getting interesting". I did later admitted that I also had a crush on her because of her looks and some conversations from my friends about her, which she blushed a bit, and slightly embarrassed her of how I knew she was stalking me for quiet some time, she even admitted seeing my IG acc from my FB profile and knew it was public and me putting it on private.
To not make her insecure, I did told her I was in a situationship with my partner for a while. I told this to her because she was aware I was seeing someone else before this. Right after me and my ex stopped talking, I decided that for the longest time I would DM her, lets call her Crystal.
We talked for a bit, until Crystal just randomly asked "what's the update on your fling?", and instead of waiting for my answers, she would reply like "you were her classmate right?" & "from first year right?", to which I just said yeah, and I also said "she was confused on her status as well, soo...", Crystal immediately responded with "so???", then said "I'm now free I guess", with a bit of explanation about her and myself that we wanted to part ways and distance ourselves.
The thing is... She immediately went silent after I said "I guess I'm free", didn't responded for 2 days, which I also did to not make myself look desperate to salvage the conversation, I was just answering her question.
Soooo.... What now? finals are coming to a close and it's summer, she lives in another city which means we aren't meeting up for a couple months. Worst is that she might drop out (probably but IDK), since it's 2nd year of college and in our university, 3rd year is when things are getting real serious on your majors, which pressured many students to drop out.
