tank switching

i have two bettas a male and a female and i have one in a 6gallon corner and one in a 5 rectangle my male is in the five gallon and just seems he’s getting a little to big for his home and they have almost identical water parameters, and I’m just wondering if I can switch them to each others tanks I haven’t seen much anywhere about that and I’m getting mixed answers from the internet or if i’d have to drain them and start fresh i wouldn’t be sure if they can like smell each other idk if that sounds dumb i just don’t want to stress them out or put them in a bad situation or if i should honestly just leave it alone any advice or tips im wide open to!

scale or scratch

the first picture is what his eyes normally look like and then the other one has a blue foggy dot on it i’m not sure if he’s going blind or if he scratched his eye or if it’s a possible infection I’m not so sure I’ve had him about just under year now and this is the first time i’ve seen something like this he’s also looking slightly chunky n i’m not sure how to go about what’s happening

today’s segment of learning as I go please help me identify what’s going on in my tank

The fake wood decoration in my tank seems to be growing, some sort of algae and it’s spread spreading to my sponge and changing the colour of the wood the two first pictures are before and the last two is it currently i’m wondering if it’s just normal algae or if I should be worried about I’m dealing with biofilm problems because of new plants adjusting so just ignore that but the neon green also worries me cause that’s def not algae I’m wondering if maybe it’s leaching paint into the water? Water parameters are perfect so I’m just not sure what’s going on any advice would be amazing
