Is my phone totally bricked, or is it still salvageable?
It is a Moto G5, XT 1675
I found my old phone in the cabinet, I charged it, and then I went to boot it up. This message then popped up instead of the regular booting screen with the red M and blue background.
I checked out the website that it told me, but there was nothing useful, and my phone did not boot after 5 seconds like it says on the screen, it was stuck.
I tried going into recovery mode (power and vol. down), but the screen only pops up sometimes per maybe. I had to press around for good five minutes until it finally budged.
After I want into recovery mode, it got stuck on the "no command" screen. Just like many on the internet said, I pressed the power button and clicked vol. up once. Once again, it didn't budge. I had to repeat this process a couple of times until it finally got to the options menu. (Just to do this action took me like an hour)
Since I didn't exactly want to lose the data, because I was curious about the content I left there when I switched phones, I picked the option "wipe cache partition". After this, it got stuck on the screen that said "Supporting API 3, wiping cache". I waited for god knows how long, but it didn't work.
By the way, the only way to turn off the phone is to open the case and take out the battery.
So is there an option to unbrick the phone without loosing data? If not, how do I unbrick it generally, if possible (even if it factory resets)? Or is my phone just bricked and it's over.
