A little surprised to see that the filter and step adapter almost double the length of the "lens", but still seem pocket-able enough.
Ended up getting a 1/4 black diffusion filter - Will test it out soon.
Highly recommend Kayla if you're in the Houston area!
It may sound weird to some for someone with multiple professional grade cameras to use something like the campsnap - but I feel like it's perfect for us. Its like a vacation from my normal photography - no lugging around heavy lenses, no thinking about 100 settings, no hours of editing raw files, no screen to analyze every image.
Photos are a mix of Dog Days and Kino filters.
I have expensive enough photo equipment to carry an insurance policy, but this little guy is a lot of fun!
I'm a semi-professional-ish photographer and recently bought a Kodak Charmera just for fun, to bring on a trip with the wife. I have a lot of expensive equipment, but taking photos with my Sony gear puts me in such a different mindset.
Such a relief to have a simple silly camera to focus on capturing memories without thinking about a million little things with settings and hauling around awkward equipment (or using my phone and all the added distraction there). I think this will be my new go-to for capturing vacation/travel memories.
The intrinsic vibes this camera brings are a very fun and nostalgic.
