Understanding scripture

Hi, I’m a neurodivergent teen. I’m trying to read the scriptures more often but I always hold them off because it’s too hard for me to understand, I only started reading when I was 11 or 12 I can’t remember, but even then I didn’t read often. I’ve been trying to start a “scripture journal” in which I read the scriptures and then ask what they are about to family members so I can write them in simpler words, but I want to start reading everyday and my family has there own life’s. So I want to ask if there are any online apps that explain them better or anything else that can help me Continue to read the scriptures.

Choices and decision's

Does anybody else as an autistic person feel that choices make things harder? Because I’m seeing everywhere that “it will be easier for them to understand“ but when there are choices it just makes it harder for me because I know what I want but I just feel extra pressure when they ask. Does anybody feel this way or is it just me? (maybe I’m just a people pleaser idk)
