Trying to decide between fractional CO2 (specifically CoolPeel, but could possibly try a light DEKA, although it sounds too intense) vs. UltraClear and would love to hear experiences from people who’ve done either/both.

For context, I’ve done facials/chemical peels before but never laser resurfacing. My concerns are mainly enlarged pores, some texture, some hyperpigmentation, and a small slightly depressed scar above my lip from stitches I got as a kid that I'd love to minimize. No major acne scarring or deep wrinkles.

I’ve now had consults at several med spas in LA including:

• West Empire recommended CoolPeel or DEKA, although she said the latter probably isn't necessary
• South Coast Med Spa suggested 3DMIRACL or UltraClear (both combined with at least a couple BBL treatments)
• others suggested microneedling but I honestly think I want something stronger

What I’m trying to understand from people who’ve actually done these:

• Did you feel CoolPeel gave meaningful results or was it too subtle?
• Was UltraClear worth the significantly higher cost?
