Number One

A new inmate arrives at a prison. On his first night, he hears another prisoner yell, "Number 22!", and the whole cell block erupts in laughter. A few minutes later, someone yells, "Number 45!", and again, the whole cell block howls.

Confused, the new guy asks his cellmate what is going on.

His cellmate explains, "Well, we've all been in here for so long, and we know all the same jokes by heart. To save time, we numbered them, so we just shout the number instead of telling the whole joke!"

Excited to fit in, the new guy stands up on his bed, takes a deep breath, and shouts, "Number 72!"

Dead silence. Nobody laughs.

Confused and embarrassed, he sits back down and asks his cellmate what went wrong. "Was Number 72 not a good joke?"

His cellmate sighs and says, "Oh, 72 is one of our absolute favorites!"
The new guy asks, "Then why didn't anyone laugh?!"
The cellmate shrugs and replies, "Some people just don't know how to tell a joke!"

AV system and split-screen...

I just replaced my 2019 Highlander Limited Platinum with a 2026 Grand Highlander Hybrid MAX Platinum. Love it so far. One thing I cannot figure out and hoping someone can help me out.

On my previous vehicle, I could put the screen into "Home" which had have the screen showing the GPS mapping, and the other half split into showing the current radio station, artist, and song, and the quick-dial selections for my paired phone.

On the new one, I love the huge new screen, and the modern mapping. But, I cannot figure out if, or if so, how, to see both the GPS mapping and the radio information at the same time. As a result, I can only see a huge map and not see my channel/song info, or I can see all the radio details but not have a map. Is there any way to get one view with both of these things?

Thanks!

Newer GDO remote not working

I have a fairly old garage door opener - a LifeMaster 8550. It has a smart/digital control panel on the wall, a wireless keypad connected/mounted outside, and a remote. I needed a new remote for it so bought the Chamberlain CHU62 universal remote. Followed instructions to a tee with pairing (Yellow Button). No dice and no idea why.

  1. Held in both buttons until the light went solid.

  2. Pushed the yellow Learn button and the learn light went on.

  3. Pushed the button to program three times in a row, light started blinking.

  4. Waited a few seconds and the opener light flashed once, but the door did not move. Pushed the button on the remote, it finished the setting process, and light went off.

  5. Remote did not work. Pushing the button did nothing while the remote light flashed as it should.

I've tried many permutations of this, to no avail. Any thoughts?
