I finally got the commander I was looking for, but now I dont want to play it.

I play on MTGO.

I finally found someone selling [[imotekh, the stormlord]] and it wasnt insanely priced. So i snatched it up. I love artifacts, tokens, graveyard stuff, and necrons. It's a win-win-win-win.

I want to build him with [[myr retriever]] and friends. Sacrificing neat artifacts like [[ichor wellspring]] and bring them back and making necron tokens to attack with. I'm fine using cards like [[marionette apprentice]] for extra ping.

BUT every deck I see with this guy is an infinite combo engine piece. Some combination of [[krark-clan ironworks]] [[mirkwood bats]] and a loop. Infinite loops are bad on MTGO. You have to manually do the loop every time, you cant just say "ok, i do the loop 100 times". There's even a chance of having too many things going at the same time crashes the game. Personally, I really dislike it when people take up too much time on MTGO, and I'm sure im not the only one.

Anyone have an idea of how to build Imotekh while avoiding infinite loops? Bracket 3?

Deck tech for [[tannuk, memorial ensign]] I can't find anywhere else.

[[tannuk, memorial ensign]] Is easy to understand. Land=1 damage to opponents. [[torbran]] helps to make that 2 damage. But I also found an old card I've had for a long time make an explosive entrance. [[Neko-te]] is equipment from kamigawa block. We wont be using the first part, but the second part adds another way to increase tannuk's per land damage. I cant seem to find these two cards mentioned together anywhere, but i just won a game on turn 6 with a timely [[scapeshift]] for 13 lands.

Important cards for this play were: [[keen sense]] [[tireless tracker]] [[time of need]] [[azusa]] and a lot of land searches like [[farseek]] [[nature's lore]] and [[three visits]]

playing a land makes a treasure token, and draws 3 cards with [[keen sense]] in 4 player EDH. You can dig through your deck looking for more land fetches until you find [[splendid reclamation]] or [[scapeshift]] or both.

Put fresh spinach on bacon while it cooks in the oven. It absorbs the grease and becomes crispy crunchy.
