I found this gt80 for a banging deal on marketplace while shopping for a stealth, and why aren’t these more popular? It’s basically a 4 channel amp with how everything works and sounds. And yes, it does modern metal. Here’s the proof 🤣
I’ve had the tube vypyr combo for a few years now, but always wanted one of the head versions. I don’t have space for the full 120w tube head, so when I saw the 30w head I had to pick it up!! This thing sounds cool, and is probably the lightest amp head I’ve ever picked up lol.

After finding 0 info about this online except that it’s bad, I had to hunt one down. The clean and the tight drive channel aren’t great, but with some pedals the loose drive is a lot of fun. Plus it’s weird and collectible if you’re about that life 🤣 anyone else have any experience with the mh500?

As far as fireflies go, it’s a 6/10. Very large paint defect on the headstock with raw wood showing, a large paint bubble on the rear that seems to have a large bit of clearcoat over it.
The biggest defect is the Floyd posts are slightly out of alignment, the high e side is closer to the neck than the low E side. If you use the Floyd you gotta kinda tap it a few times to get it back to the correct tuning.
Finally hunted one of these down, and oh lawd. It goes so hard. I have a lot of high gain amps and this one is definitely doing its own thing. Surprised these don’t get more love!
The wall is coming together, just need some lighting for the dark corner lol. Only things not pictured are a peavey classic 30, vypyr 60w tube, pag 60, Randall rg1503, and a bugera v22 that are in a closet with my “extra” 14 or so guitars 😭 does GAS ever stop?
I can finally be done buying amps 😩 I now have every ultra series. Also, anyone know why an amp would suddenly just get really quiet? Really thin and barely above talking volume. New tube time?
Hello, I got a Mesa DC-5 in today, but when I had an eq in the loop for volume reduction (thing goes from 0 to ouch by breathing on the output volume), it started randomly swelling in volume. It only sounds good a little cranked so need something to assist with that. Any ideas what could be going on? Scared to get a mesa serviced lol. Thank you! Also, any preferred settings for metal?
After getting every amp ever I get why the 6505+ is the go to metal amp. I have never smiled so much playing something.
After buying many many better amps, turns out I still love the line 6 spider 3 insane mode specifically. And the head was 80$ lol. This was my first half stack I bought for 100$ 6 years ago, and this one isn’t leaving. Surprised nobody enjoys these for metal, it’s a really fun amp.

Picked up a teal stripe ultra 60 head yesterday, stumbled upon a triumph 60 PAG for 100$ on Craigslist today. Somehow having an easier time getting teal stripes than later ultras lol.
I got this peavey ultra 60 for a good deal, and was just wondering if it’s super different from the later ultra plus. I have a XXX as well, and collect these things. Is the ultra plus enough of a difference between the original ultra to justify the purchase? Thank you guys!
