First time doing snow. And the army painter snow that comes with the basing set is defenitly not ideal. But I didn't want to order a snow effect only for this. So I'm stuck with it.
Can you tell that I'm a fan of big robots that carry one giant gun with both hands?
First things first:
To whoever suggested the shockwave over water idea for the base. Great idea, unfortunetly I ran out of water effects. So that's an idea that needs to be saved for later.
In the mean time however, I realy love the ruble on this one. And suprisingly, it doesn't distract much from the Broadside itself (I think).
If you have any ideas how I can improve this further, please let me know. Paintjob, base, anything realy.
Quick little tutorial on how to make this unholy abomination.
It is done! ... except for the base.
So anyway, here is my take one the tripple rail rifle Broadside. I'm just not a huge fan of the shoulder mounted railguns. They just seem akward to me.
So I came up with this. Does it make sense? Probably not. Is it the best thing ever? Yes, yes it is.
Now I just need to work on the base. Please show of some of yours. I don't just want do give him the same old dirt with grass look. So some Inspiration would be welcome.
Also, let me know if you want a tutorial for this. Someone asked for it on the last post, but I want to know if the demand is realy there.
Ladys and gentleman, the violence has escalated. Turns out cutting of the barrel and adding a round bit realy sells the whole rotary part, who would have thought...
I also added an extra power cable, because why not.
My personal takeaway from this is that just because you have started painting something, that doesn't mean you can't go back and change things up.
Still probably shouldn't do that, but you can...
