Have you worked for them?

I’ve been working in the general industry (alarms, cctv, access, fire) for about 10 years through a few different companies. I got an email from Pye-Barker for a Fire Service and Inspector job opening in Tennessee. It’s not a job offer, more of a “we noticed you want want to talk” kinda email. And I know the simplest way to get most of my questions answered would be to reachout and talk to them. But we all know employers/recruiters are always as transparent about jobs.

I’ve got multiple mixed “reviews” from different coworkers about the company. But I wanted to see if anyone who actually works for them had input on them as a company? I know it will be different based on locations and offices, but I would appreciate any good or bad feedback you have.

Thanks in advance!

Increase air flow

My airflow is rather weak in the main bedroom. I can feel air from the vents but not as much as I can from the other vents off this trunk. I was thinking about adding an inline duct fan and use 2 relays to have it kick on with the system in either hot or cold. I didn’t know where the best placement would be. Should I do a larger 12” fan and put in right before in breaks off? (Fan A) which would be roughly 14’ from the air handler. Or do a smaller 6” fan on the duct going to that room (fan B) I’m fairly certain both vents in that room have their own trunk (green line) and are not jumped off one another. In which case I’d need 2 6” fans.

My other thought was closing off and moving those ducts (purple) to branch off the main truck sooner. It’s flex duct from the handler till it hits a hard duct rectangle 14’ down where are the branches currently are.

The room isn’t a drastic difference in temperature, I’d like like it to get more airflow then it currently is as that will be my bedroom once I finish the floor.

I can’t feel any leaks from the current duct work in the attic and the duct does not appear to be constricted in any spots that I can tell. I would think that room would have the best airflow as it’s the first branch.

Any help is appreciated!

Twilight Princess graphic issues

OLED Steam Deck. Running Dolphin with EmuDeck.

Does anyone know where I can start to address this screen issue? It’s really just effecting the water and anything in the water. Such as the pillars.

(The trickle charger is not plugged in. I am just using the alligator clips to hold my probes in place.)

I have a Husqvarna RZ4623. It’s old and used but it usually works fine. This morning I could not get it to turn over with the key. Couldn’t even hear a click like it was getting no power at all. My battery is two weeks old and it worked two weeks ago.

Battery voltage is 12.5-13V. I could bridge the solenoid starter together and it would try to turn over. The flywheel spins and makes the normal noises it does but it would never catch. I thought maybe the solenoid was faulty so I replaced it. Once I put the new one in, I still get no click from the key and bridging it does the exact same thing as the old one. The voltage does drop to 9-10V when starting, but that seems normal.

Any advice on what the check or what I should replace?

Epson ET-2800

Double sided Glossy Photo paper. Koala 160gsm

3mil matte laminate

They don’t have the same sheen as a Magic card, but that might be due to the matte laminate. Maybe a satin laminate?

But coming in at .33-.34 mm, I’m super impressed.

Plus, finally getting that snap is wonderful and they shuffle very well.

I think I have some air bubbles under the laminate which I think is caused by not giving the Ink enough time to dry before? Any tips on how to prevent that is much appreciated.

And I’d like to get a difference style corner tool because the R4 I’m using is a little to round.

I’ll probably need to adjust my color settings as well as the matte laminate dulls the black a bit.
