2022 explorer, 2015 (I think?) Epiphone acoustic, and a 2018 Epiphone Les Paul vintage. The case came with the explorer when I bought it, it’s being used to store the Les Paul since it cheap and doesn’t play very well. But it was my first so I’m keeping it.
I have a 2022 Epiphone explorer and I wanna learn pinch harmonics, I don’t have a distortion pedal and I’m plugged right into my amp, the settings I have available are bass, mid, treble, gain, shape (scoops mids), and then other effects like delay, reverb, phaser, flanger, and choruser, as well as a volume and tone knob on the guitar, don’t know if that changes anything. But I know to use the bridge pickup and to choke high up on the pick and strike with both the pick and your thumb, and also where you pick the string effect the sound of the the harmonic as well. What I want to know is are my settings holding me back or do I just suck? could it also be the fact that I don’t have distortion? Also side question is it pitch or pinch harmonics?
I have the option between sceptile and kyogre. Either way feels sacrilegious becuase I have rillaboom and the crown tundra already shoves legendaries down your throat. Also is there a chance for either of them to spawn again if I chose one over the other?
