How is everyone feeling about the primaries? Who are you all voting for? It’s a nonpartisan race but Adam Price is the only Democrat running. He said there’s only 3 people running in the race but there’s actually 5 on the ballot lol.
I learned about Al-Anon for the first time today and I’ve been listening to some shares on YouTube. I have a friend whose life is deeply affected by alcohol, which in turn is affecting me. Today over the phone I mentioned the word alcoholic and they blew up at me. After several years of friendship with this person, today was a turning point for me. I am feeling guilty for learning about Al-Anon because I don’t want my friend to know they’ve caused me to seek out these resources. I don’t want to come back to them with knowledge or insights about alcoholism and have them find out I went out and did all of these things because of them. How do I help myself and help this person? I’m learning about detachment. That seems painful? Like pull away from them? Without explanation? I have a lot to learn. Also what I’m finding about Al-Anon talks a lot about family members. Can people who only have friends with alcoholism use this resource? Thank you in advance if you’re able to offer any help.
I hope they never go away and I hope TJ wins the Smuckers lawsuit just for having a better product.
