hi everyone! incoming nursing major here, trying to think ahead and plan my courses for the upcoming semesters. after my ap/ccp credits were applied i only have 2 kent core slots that i'll need to fill, but i don't want to take them in person because i'd rather fill the slots with courses for a minor. the courses i plant to take are music as a world phenomenon and intro to sociology. does anyone have experience taking these online in the summer? is it doable to take both next online next summer? if i only did 1 online it should probably be music since sociology is required for the BSN, but if anyone thinks it's possible to knock them both out online please let me know!

Hi everyone! I recently graduated high school and will be starting a 4-yr BSN program in August! I am DESPERATELY seeking advice on what technology I should buy for school. I just had my college orientation and they only gave insight on how much storage and which intel to buy, not necessarily what current students are using and succeeding with. Is it really necessary to have somewhere to take digital notes or can I survive without a touchscreen/iPad???

For context, for a while I was against buying an iPad (due to cost and fear of mixing school stuff with my personal icloud account) although I know how many people swear by them. I was interested in just buying a 2-in-1 laptop that flipped into a screen that you could write on, but I've heard that people actually prefer to have two separate devices, their computer and then iPad for notetaking, so here is my dilemma:

Option 1: Lenovo Yoga 7i or 9i 2-in-1 Laptop ($1.5-1.8k, 14inch, comes with pen) AND no iPad

Option 2: Microsoft Surface 7 ($1.3k, 13.8inch, no pen and does not flip) AND iPad Mini with Apple Pen (which adds at least $700)

I prefer the look, feel, and smaller screen size of the Surface 7 over the Lenovo but if I end up getting the Surface then I won't have the option to flip the Surface and take notes that way. I really am in a bind so if anyone has ANY tips or advice, please let me know or send me a message! Thanks so much in advance!
