I have this huge circular dark spot along my hairline
back in january, someone pointed out to me that there is a dark spot along my hairline. i didn’t pay it much mind since dark spots usually fade over time. i then went home and looked in the mirror and saw that it was actually huge. i then looked back at pictures of me before then and i noticed that it was in a video of me back in december, but it was way smaller.
my theory is that this is linked to a haircut i got. back in june i went to a barber ive never been to and got a haircut twice. the following day after the first haircut that area was slightly itchy when i woke up. it never bothered me since it didn’t last long nor did it hurt. after the second haircut nothing happened.
in november, i then went back to the same barber to get a haircut, nothing immediately right after or the following days. but in december i did take that video and as i said it was a lot smaller.
in mid february i went and got a haircut again at the same shop but nothing happened this time. the dark spot is still the same size and as dark as it was in january. the main difference being the texture. back then, it was smooth, dryer and the skin felt thicker.
that’s all the details i can provide unfortunately.
TLDR- dark spot appeared in december, got bigger by January and has remained the same size. texture has changed. it was smooth, dry and thick. currently, relatively not as smooth, dry or thick.
