Just watched Naked, You Die and it was actually pretty enjoyable

Had it in my volume 6 boxset of forgotten Gialli (the best one in my opinion) and was in the mood to try out a more mild one it honestly reminded me a lot of Solange and knife of ice

This one feels so matter of fact and grounded which makes it all the more unsettling. It’s also so poetic with the reveal and how Solange couldn’t speak and all the girls ending up with tape on their mouths. And you’d think it would come off more exploitative with the subject matter but it instead actually feels kinda classy. Very interesting one.

If you like Giallo, I think you’d also appreciate these underrated, psychological horror/thrillers from the 70s by Jose Larraz “Symptoms” 1974 and “Whirlpool” 1970

I’d usually overlook this one for how slow it can be and its lack of kills and blood which is what I come to this genre looking for, but the story is so mature and well rounded and allows you to really get to know the characters which I thought was refreshing so while it doesn’t have as many flourishes as most it almost doesn’t need it since the story is so compelling and leads up to a great ending might consider adding this to the collection
