4.5mo lithops seedlings

Pot #7 is a mix of Aucampiae and divergens. The aucampiae are obviously way bigger than the divergens 😂

Pot #9 is L. verruculosa ‘rose of Texas’

Pot #4 is L. Olivacea

Pot #12 is a lithops seed mix.

Sigh. This is why I don’t like buying lithops from nurseries.

Rotting even though I have barely touched it since getting it home 🤷🏻‍♀️ the other ones are fine. But I feel bad for the people who buy from nurseries because they’re so often already doomed to die before you even get them home.

Currently I am leaving it on the work bench to see if it can be dried out and saved. There’s still a bit of firmness in there so we aren’t losing hope yet!

My most prized of my collection

This Conophytum bachelorum seedling which was the only seed out of 11 to germinate. 5 months old and just shed its cotyledon last week. I’m hoping the other seeds will germinate sometime down the road in the pot as I keep watering it. I probably won’t need to repot him for a few years at least!

My C. bachelorum seedling has finally shucked its cotyledon! My heart sunk when I saw the collapsed baby leaf, because usually the process is a bit more gradual. But I moved a pebble of akadama out of the way to find their pristine little body underneath 😭

And a C. ectypum from one of last year’s batches pushed out this adorable flower!! I hope I catch it open tomorrow 😍

I think they’re lesliei? Lithops are not my strong suit 😂

Can’t believe these guys though, not completely over watered! So of course I had to take them home. Lol.
