If Silverback films decided to create a documentary about the origins of dragons....I do hope they based or share inspiration of Vikasrao's Draconology.
The reason why I say this is because... dragon documentaries don't get enough attention nor haven't been made for years since the last documentary that came out in 2004.
Yes, I'm aware that they don't exist due to no fossil evidence....but that doesn't mean they should be avoided or ignored cuz mind you there have been documentaries about certain creatures that combines real life biology, evolution, and mythology all together that makes the series more interesting,
This is why it makes sense for Silverback Films to tackle a speculative documentary on Draconology because the project mirrors the evolutionary, nature-documentary format that the studio has perfected. Vikasraoβs work reimagines dragons as scientifically grounded evolutionary missing links rather than pure magic.
Silverback Films is renowned for executing mega-hit natural history series like Life on Our Planet and The Dinosaurs. Draconology fits their signature style of treating mythological creatures as an unrecorded branch of the tree of life that evolved and adapted to different climates alongside earth's natural fauna while existing in a era that's becomes a lost chapter in the tree of life....Exploring dragons this way allows the studio to dive into believable speculative biology. Fans and researchers have praised Vikasrao's lore for its highly plausible biological explanations for how dragons might have evolved to achieve traits like flight and fire-breathing.
Which could bring speculative documentaries to a whole new level of education and entertainment but it depends on the outcome in the future π€·.
