The movie is not AI slop, it's human slop.

People are lining up just to see how bad the movie could be, which was made by an single mother with a 200 USD budget.

However, many people actually reported having a great time watching it. They felt they would rather watch this than those cringe-worthy, forced movies made by overpaid celebrities coasting on their fame.

Today is August 15th, the day Imperial Japan surrendered. However, even today a large number of Japanese politicians and citizens still visit and pay their respects at the infamous Yasukuni Shrine, where Class-A war criminals are enshrined. Imagine if any European country still honored Nazi figures in the same way.

I have seen people explain that, "ordinary citizens are simply there to commemorate the ordinary soldiers who died in the war and do not think too deeply". However, if you have relatives who died in the war, you can certainly pay tribute to them at home, rather than at a place that has already become highly politicized.

I don't know if it's just a thing between players, but in China this is mostly something elders/parents do to kids to show affection, or something couples in love do to express their tenderness.

If done between adults, it would not only feel werid but may also be taken as an offense.

I’ve heard many stories about tourists being harassed, discriminated against, verbally abused, or even robbed by teenagers in some countries, especially in Australia, the UK, and the Balkans. What’s worse, because they’re minors, there are barely any ways to hold them accountable or fight back.

Russia Today account has more than one million followers in China. One example is that it often posts videos of Ukraine’s forced conscription practices and confrontations involving civilians, seemingly to promote the narrative that “the Ukrainian government is bad.”

However, since these videos usually lack verifiable details such as the exact location, date, and original source, I tend to remain skeptical.

We literally call Russia “Big Furry Bro”. Partly because they were the Big Brother of USSR, and partly because their image is often tied to fluffy bears.

(No offense to Ukraine but we call them Second Furry Bro)

We also call them the fighting nation for obvious reasons.
