Future of GATE EC

The job market is saturated as heck well unrelated to my dreams. How well will i perform in EC, I have this not so deep but fair interest in firmware and tinyml and working with memory management basically and in the future maybe control systems. But considering I'm poor and my parents will eventually put me through fomo and i need to move out and need financial stability do i even stand a chance if i do all of these, and my college barely has ec companies coming through?

What shall i choose?

I'm going to appear for the gate exam next year and I'm in my penultimate year i have my course specialised with AI so by convention i must follow EC and DA and give these two papers. I didn't focus much on jee but i always wanted to be part of something associated with aerodynamics, i researched a bit and found taking XE for fluid will do the job. What exactly am i supposed to do, since there are 2 paper restrictions and i have thought of ECE + DA, but i don't feel like doing DA, also some of the overlaps of control system and rf in ece and aero is really intriguing and best combination, no? then i wonder if india has a nice aerodynamics ecosystem like ik isro/hal/drdo and research space, i know I'll get peers and I'm quite excited about that. Please help :)

Why can't they introduce summer sem?

This much restriction and wait is so dismal and gloomy because of arrears that also because some professors who take out personal grudges on students want so, why is this so unfair, why the wait for an year why can't a person who got 1-2 arrears give exam in next semester why are they marginalised from everywhere (no companies allow active backlogs now that the market is extremely competitive).
