Very new to the game, so this is my first time trying to make something aesthetic. Might route that Light Panel cable up to ceiling, or across the floor.
I don’t know what’s different about this storm, but the lightning going on sounds like it’s trying to really hard to kill something.
It's taken me quite a few years, and I have to admit, I started "later" than a few other folks I see on here (if all things you are see on the internet are true); started contributing to my Roth IRA slowly around 2021-2022 (24-25yo), but only started maxing it out in 2025 & 2026 after getting a promotion. HYSA (3.5%) has 12 months of emergency fund, just due to the current job market + the sector I am in. Opened the brokerage sometime last year, but this month's paycheck finally pushed me over the line.
My net worth will drop below 100K after I pay bills, sadly, but with my contributions every month, it should stay over the top very soon.
Roth is up 20% over 5 years (100% VTTSX)
Brokerage is up 33% over 1 year (70% VOO / 30% VBR), this is where I dump all my "extra" money.
