How do you guys test if you're out of body?

I have astral projected many times, particularly from lucid dreams, but also from leaving my body in sleep paralysis.

Early this morning, I was in sleep paralysis and tried to lift out. Being on the edge of sleep can be quite a delicate thing, and I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to lift out, or if I would end up moving my physical body.

So I try to lift my head, and I sit up and then start crawling out of bed. But I can feel the weight of the blankets and such, and my body doesn't feel any lighter and I can't float up, which tells me that I'm not out of body.

My son was sleeping next to me so I gently stroke his back and then start to go back to sleep when I suddenly snap back into my body - silly me, I was out of body after all.

This has happened a few times, where I roll out of bed trying to leave my body, but fool myself into thinking it didn't work, only to be snapped back to my body by surprise.

So I'm curious: To those of you who leave during sleep paralysis, do you do something to immediately test it? Sometimes it's obvious (for example, if you're floating), but other times it feels exactly as "physical" as being in the body.

Doing more exercises while lying flat on floor, similar to lying bicep curl?

I like the lying bicep curl, which shows up in some programs. Maybe it's that I'm lazy and prefer not to stand, but it feels easier to isolate the bicep. I realized you can probably do some other exercises in the same position, such as a shoulder press and raises. Maybe even rows can be done from the ground or from lying on a bench (though I guess you're limited because it will tend to pull your torso off the ground.

Thoughts?

Currently, I vaccuum the house once a week with an upright. Every time I vacuum, the canister is completely full of debris. My partner does a lot of Swifering and occassional mopping.

We have flooring downstairs with one big rug and 3 small rugs. The stairs are carpeted, and the upstairs main area is carpeted, and there are 4 non-carpeted bedrooms with occassional rugs.

We have 1 orange tabby cat and 1 short-haired dog.

I'd like something under $1000, though I don't want to spend 1K just because I can - I'd like to get the most bang for the buck and would happy spending just $300.

edit: 2750 square foot

It's nice that there's so much to choose from but it's a bit much! How many different workouts do we need? In 10 years is the library going to be 3X what it is now? It seems kinda crazy to have so much to choose from.

Ultimately I'll probably gravitate to a "standard Tonal workout" with maybe a 3 day split.
