Anyone experiencing Cyberpunk crash on macOS 27 beta?

I am using MacBook Pro with M5 Pro 16GPU core 24GB ram, running macOS 27 golden gate dev beta 2.

Cyberpunk 2077 graphic settings are mostly medium with ray traced reflections and shadows turned on, while ray traced lighting is turned off.

The game runs fine, until it randomly crashes, usually when entering new area, new phone call is made, entering into a car, or new character is loaded.

First the frame freezes while the audio is still playing, then the game shows graphical glitches on that frozen frame (mostly black image and some glowing light sources), and then It fully crashes.

When I go back to that area, the crash sometimes reappears, or sometimes it is gone.

I've tried rebooting the device, verifying and repairing the game files, and reinstalling games, nothing seems to work.

I am suspecting maybe it could be caused by unstable Metal GPU driver in macOS 27 beta.

Is anyone experiencing something similar? I would love to know.

My (possibly unique) no-lightseal setup

When I bought the used vision pro, the light seal was too thick even though it was the recommended size by Apple.

So I came up with this solution.
I used double sided tape to connect two provided cushions, and normal Scotch tape to attach those cushions on vision pro’s frame.

While it is literally made out of tape, it has been holding well for few months without issue!

the pros of this approach are:

  1. Unlike third party solutions like globular cluster, it only uses first party parts. and since dual knit band is made with fabric, not hard plastic, it can be used comfortably while lying back.
  2. It has almost no light leak unlike other lightseal-less setups.
  3. Thanks to thick cushioning provided by stacked cushions, it is very comfortable.
  4. Significantly better FOV, just like other lightseal-less setups.
  5. It feels much lighter since weight of the device is now closer to face, and the weight is distributed in multiple points, cheek, forehead, top of the head, and back of the head.
  6. Since cushions are just attached at the top side of the frame, it is slightly adjustable to fit your face shape.

Try it!
If it doesn’t fit for you, you can always just peal of the tape.
