Arrived in Dallas and went to the Comfort Suites. They said they had my reservation but were overbooked. Advised to call Booking. I did and they said they called and then emailed the property but nothing arrived.

Was asked for them to call a number but Comfort said they can't call numbers with 1 because they have to call 91 first so it calls the police. The email the property uses is a Gmail address that was not in the system. Was told by Booking Comfort as to update their email and phone number to be able to do anything. Booking said they can't cancel anything until the property replies to the email they sent.

It's after 2am so I'm just booking somewhere else for tonight. Any advice on how to get a refund?

I spend about half the year in the US and the other half in another country. If I have a US based account am I allowed to list things from the other country? I tried to search myself but wanted to be sure as I wouldn't want to be banned.
