Can anyone help identify the era or style of this vintage ring?

Hi everyone,

I recently bought this ring at an auction and I’m really curious to learn more about it. Unfortunately, there was no information provided about its history, previous owners, age, or origin.

The ring is made of 18k gold and features three amethysts in different colors: pink, purple, and blue. I would love to know if anyone recognizes the design style, possible era, or any details that could help identify when or where it might have been made.

I’m especially interested in jewelry history and vintage pieces, so any insight, even small details, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Why was this group considered “cringe” in the US but not in Europe?

Hi, european fan here. I’ve been wondering about something regarding how this group is perceived in the US.

I’ve seen a lot of American fans say that the group used to be considered “cringe” there before their recent song (Drag Path) came out. But once the single was released and started getting popular, suddenly a lot of new people began listening to them. Some older fans seemed annoyed and were saying things like: “Before, everyone thought they were cringe, and now everyone loves them because of one recent single.”

So I’m curious: why was the group seen as “cringe” in the US in the first place? Because here in Europe, I’ve personally never met anyone who viewed the group that way.

Do you think there’s a difference in mentality or perception depending on the country?
