Who does Vayne counter?

And what would you say are her main strengths? I'm a Jinx otp who recently started playing Vayne, and I want to add her to my roster, but I'm struggling to figure out when to pick her over Jinx in champ select. Jinx's main strength in landing phase is her range and poke potential with her W, which Vayne struggles with. I'm pretty good with Vayne in big team fights, but I can't really figure out what her strengths are in laning phase, especially before level 6.

TIA!

Have to find a new salon and I'm so scared

Ok sorry for the dramatic title, lol. I just got fired from my salon. I worked there for 5 years, first as an apprentice. My boss is known for being crazy (and I don't say that lightly. Literally everyone at cosmetology school used that word to describe her.) Basically, I had a handful of complaints when I first started, which imo is very normal and expected as a brand new stylist. I tried my best to learn from my mistakes and not repeat them, even though my boss yelled and me and made me feel stupid instead of trying to help me learn. They never brought the complainer in to evaluate the issue, so my boss would literally just assume things about the situation that weren't true and yell at me for it. Last week, I had a client who was unhappy with her highlight. The receptionist who spoke to her on the phone said she was very nice, she just was unhappy with the color of her ends. Instead of hearing my side of the story or allowing me to bring her in to fix it, they just fired me. Mind you this is the only color complaint I've ever gotten. I want to reiterate that I want to learn from my mistakes and do better, but I was never given the opportunity to do so.

Long story short, I need to find a new salon and I'm so nervous. There's so many variables that go into a good salon that you can't know until you start working there. I'm afraid I'll get hired somewhere and hate it, and have to tell my clients I'm switching salons again, and then my clients will lose faith in me and drop me. I'm afraid I won't like my coworkers. I'm afraid there won't be enough walk ins. I'm afraid I'll get more complaints and I'll get fired again. I'm afraid I won't be able to find a salon who serves the clientelle I want and I'll be stuck doing men's cuts and kids cuts all day.

I live in a big city with hundreds of salons, but for some reason I feel like I'll never find the right one. My current plan is to find a salon that's a bit smaller and more casual than my old one (which was a highly rated luxury salon) so there's less pressure on me. But that might mean less walk ins and fun projects.

Any advice? What was your experience working for a smaller scale commission salon? Advice on finding cool alternative clients when you work in a more boring salon?

Ganking Midlane

Recently I've been frustrated bc I am consistently winning my lane, but lose the game because my teammates all lose theirs. Obviously some of those games just happen and you gotta get over it, but I'm trying to figure out how to have more impact on my games as a whole. One thing I've tried a few times is ganking midlane when I see them losing hard, but I usually just die to their fed enemy midlaner, oops.

Is this something you guys do? And if so, what is the best strategy for a successful gank? I always ping when I'm otw but it hasn't seemed to help. I've never really played jungle so I understand ganking in theory but not in practice.

Lemonade theorizing

So remember when the rollout for Armaggedon happened, and the girls were expecting the title track to hit harder than Supernova, only for the opposite to happen? And Armaggedon was a more stripped back, hip hop style, while Supernova was more pop and upbeat?

Well, maybe they saw that, and they're switching it up for Lemonade. Releasing WDA as a prerelease (the Armaggedon style track) first, the following it up with something closer to Supernova?

Knowing Aespa, we're not going to get a carbon copy of either song, nor do I want one. But I do think they might have learned from Armaggedon's rollout, and are putting the more stripped down song out first.

What do you guys think?

Question for veteran stylists.

Out of curiosity: back in the 80s when everyone and their mother had a perm, what was the ethos around doing both a perm and highlight on someone? Nowadays you would be hard pressed to convince a stylist to give you both, but it seems like back in the day it was pretty common. Did stylists just do it, knowing they were frying people's hair? Was there a gentler method to prevent damage? Would stylists ever refuse to do both?

Sorry if this question is annoying coming from a youngin (I'm 29, but I never lived through the perm era) I'm legit just curious!
