Looking Back on ADHD Symptoms in Your Childhood

Hi everyone! I was talking to my new psychiatrist today, and she was asking me about how I noticed ADHD symptoms in my childhood. I wasn't diagnosed until my mid-twenties. I had a few examples but have been thinking about it more since the appointment ended. To my other late diagnosed women out there: what happened in your childhood that made you suspect ADHD? What symptoms did you display, especially if you didn't have the "classic" signs of ADHD?

Benzos and Alcohol

Does anyone here manage to have alcohol while also being on a benzo? I've been on clobazam (onfi) for over a year now and miss being able to try cute cocktails at brunch or with dinner. I don't miss alcohol a ton and don't feel the need to get drunk, but would love to have the possibility of trying a new drink or having a drink during the summer. I'm assuming that I should stay away completely. Even when I was just on keppra and trileptal, my hangover was BRUTAL the one time I drank and I was barely tipsy the night before.

Does anyone experience both epileptic and non-epileptic seizures that are focal aware? My epileptologist thinks I have both, but I can't tell the difference between them when going through the seizure. I was interested if anyone on this sub can tell which one they're experiencing (epileptic vs non-epileptic). My epileptologist thinks that my epileptic ones are controlled but I'm really worried that they're not. She decided that after a clean EEG, but I think we all know that it can be hard to detect focal aware seizures in general.
