Recently finished undergrad, how do I get started? Here’s my profile.

Hello everyone, I recently graduated from a privately funded university from a third world country with 3.87/4.00 CGPA. I am currently interning as an AI engineer in a low tier- yet around for long enough software company in my country. I have 2 research papers (Q1 journals) currently under review. I recently won multiple awards at the capstone showcasing of my graduating class. I will also be offered Summa Cum Laude based on my academic merit. Where do I position myself for Masters or PhD? How do I gauge which universities I have a good shot at? I want to apply for Fall 2027 intakes, meanwhile work in the industry to gain experience.

My parents are really happy about my results. They want me to go ahead and finish education at the highest level. I myself want that as well, but I really don’t have much inputs from surroundings in general, and would like some advice on how to get started and make a career for myself. Thanks!

Masters in CS at U of T, worth the time and effort to apply?

Edit: UofT = University of Toronto, to avoid any confusions.

Is this profile strong enough to have a shot at the program with scholarship?

The reason why I am asking because even taking the shot costs a lot of money for me, and I need to be careful where I spend for admissions. I wanted to know if it is worth my time and money to be in pursuit of this.

I am not looking for a concrete answer and am aware that the entire process is very holistic, but I want a generic idea based on my profile. Thanks for taking the time to go through it. Cheers!

How to grow in this career? Looking for advice for dos and donts.

Hello all, as I’m applying rigorously for the past month to land an internship, I’m also seeing some people, of same age, are landing insane roles at different companies. I wanted to know, as I hopefully, get started in this industry, what are some dos and donts? What should I keep mind to have a fruitful career? Asking for advice which you think has been useful for your case. I know concrete advice is almost impossible to provide in this economy. Thanks in advance!
