Hi all, I'm using the traditional cement and sharp sand for the mortar bed. Is there a specific priming slurry bond i must stick to? I was looking at BAL External Priming Slurry Bond. I've already bought 20 bags of cement 😅 thanks
We recently had our house rewired. Someone else was sent to carry out the EIC test. He only checked the consumer unit with his machine and labelled the breakers. He did not physically check any of the sockets, in fact, didn't bother looking around the house and was in for only 20 minutes or so. When I questioned him he said the machine does everything. I was under the impression that the inspector needs to plug testers directly into individual wall outlets and also turn on all switches when testing the insulation. I don't know if i am overthinking it, the inspector's company is NICEIC registered so maybe i should inquire with them about his method of work. Has anybody had such a casual EIC done?
