New firmness options for Glacier Apex. Any info on how the firm performs?

So I’m knee deep into mattress shopping again. I looked at a mattress that I was originally interested in a year ago, the Glacier Apex, and I ultimately did not go for it because it was rated as a plush feel. Now it has a firm feel!

Something really strange though, none of their customer service reps seem to even know about the new features and the sleep quiz they have doesn’t seem to take into account the firmness options either. Had anyone bought a Glacier Apex since the new firmness options, or even better have one and can comment on the performance?

Ultimately I’m looking for a nice contouring memory foam hybrid feel at this point, similar to Nectar Premier or Tempurpedic.

Recommendation for 320 pound back sleeper? RestorePlus Firm, RestorePremier Firm?

A little context, I’m a 320 pound former stomach sleeper training myself to be a back sleeper. I recently started shopping for a mattress again and I ended up testing (and loving) the Purple Rejuvenate. It is however completely out of my budget. I specifically loved that firm yet cradled feel the mattress had and I want something similar to that.

The Restore Plus or Premier seem like the winners and apparently you can get them made with a firmer feel, so I’m really trying to choose between these two. Unfortunately while I can order the firm i can’t l test them out in store so I only know what the soft and medium versions feel like. Should I even be looking at Purple at this weight??

Heavy sleeper needing a mattress, Helix Plus Elite vs Thermobalance Elite?

300lb back and stomach sleeper for reference

So I’m mattress shopping again unfortunately, and there’s a lot more out there than there was before. I’m on the heavier side still so I’m leaning towards mattresses labeled as plus size but honestly it doesn’t really matter as long as the mattress is sturdy.

I’ve stopped on 3 mattresses so far:

Helix Plus Elite

Helix Dawn Elite

BB Thermobalance Elite

For the Helix, I’m leaning Plus but the medium firm label scares me as I’m used to a super rigid surface (plank Luxe). The Dawn is a firm feel but I don’t know if it’ll feel less substantial than the Plus.

On the other end, the Thermobalance Elite looks incredible and promises very good cooling and comes in firm, but again not plus size and it’s a lot of foam…

Thoughts on people who have tried these already? Other recommendations?

Montblanc Explorer Extreme fake? Can’t believe I’m asking for this

Something about the text at the bottom of the bottle and the website just screams fake to me. I can’t imagine why someone would want to fake this one but…
