Finally Saw Dr Donahue

What a nice and caring doctor. I learned a lot from that appointment. I was a little surprised that he recommends me starting with just a pec minor release given my neck pain and issues, but I trust his judgement. Very quick turnaround to get the procedure

Neurologist says lower body nerve issue not TOS

Went to the neuro today. Let her know about these cold sensations I get all over my body, seemingly when my neck is a mess from TOS. She’s insistent that it is not caused by TOS and is something else like small fiber neuropathy. I finally see dr Donahue Monday and am curious what he says about it. Maybe I’m indeed that unlucky and not only have TOS but also have nerve issues elsewhere that are unrelated to

Very hard lump under jaw/ear

I have TOS for sure, have had surgery on one side. On the side that I have not, I have a very very hard lump under my ear and jaw. I have been assuming this is a knot and not a cysts or tumor, but does anyone else get this? It would be comforting to know it’s not something more serious that’s being overlooked

Dr Donahue Patients

Those who saw him, can you comment on the initial visit and the ct scan they do? Does it evaluate both sides or just one? I’m traveling out of state and wanna know what to expect in terms of evaluation of those images same day. Also, for those of you who had really good success stories, I could use some positive vibes right now to keep spirits up a bit. Would love to hear about your improvement

How many have anatomical anomalies?

When I had my first surgery my surgeon discovered a somewhat uncommon muscle band called a langers arch that was strapped across my thoracic outlet. I’m wondering how many others had anatomical anomalies like this, and what yours were?

Anyone else?

I’ve had one surgery but of course I’m bilateral. On the side that needs surgery still I’ve noticed when I feel my neck, even from the skin I can feel like fibrous structures and stringy (nerves/veins) that I simply don’t feel on the other side. It also feels like there is a muscle band running parallel to and right beneath my clavicle. None of this on the other side however. Is this just how human anatomy works typically or is this side really fucked up?

Traveling for TOS Surgeon

Those who did this. How did you go about getting insurance preapproval? I am scheduled to see Dr Donahue out of state in 2 months and am getting conflicting info from his office and my referring doctor about how to go about getting it. Any advice you can offer on the insurance situation would be so helpful

Post Therapy Side Effects

Finally finished, but have had some strange things going on and not sure if any one else had similar. I’ve been having cold sensations kind of all over my body, randomly throughout the days. I don’t see any reports of this online but it’s hard to square why I’d be having these all the sudden

Under 2 months

Been a long year waiting but finally close to flying out to see Dr Donahue for an evaluation on my other side (already had surgery on one side). I’m hopeful he can give me some real help
