All my friends at work got theirs already and I’m still waiting. Anyone else still waiting?

Just stopped at AutoZone to get battery replaced on my car as it was dead. As soon as the guy from the shop disconnected the battery, it locked all the doors, which I was unaware. I then closed the driver side door and was unable to get into the car. Even the manual key would not turn the lock on the door handle. As soon as the power was restored when the battery was reconnected, the manual key worked fine.

This has me a little concerned about getting into the vehicle in the future with a dead battery or if the battery comes disconnected

We had been negotiating a car and came to what we thought was a good deal and were ready to buy. However, the color combination wasn’t what my wife wanted, so she tried to get a different one, but nothing was available. They had some due in, but being the last day of the month, they wanted us to come in and give our full down payment ($9000) plus fully sign the contract for the car with a rough estimate of when it would be in.

We found this unreasonable to expect us to “buy” the car on the last day of the month and not pick it up for several weeks, so we said no and walked.

Anyone else ever hear of this or think it sounds as unreasonable as we felt it sounded?
