I'm "new" to WoW (DF baby here), and I can't stand Retail haters.

Retail is an amazing game and is the biggest MMO out there. The gameplay is king and made me quit League of Legends, a game I had played for more than 10 years, and I never looked back. The endgame is amazing, competitive and there is a huge appeal to casuals through tmog, housing, and decades worth of things to collect.
LoL has just as many haters, but people who hated it actually played it, didn't like it, and, most importantly, MOVED ON. But the thing with Retail haters is that they keep coming back in huge numbers and demanding changes to a game they don't even play. I'm pointing to streamers like Asmongold and his stupid takes on addons.

Now I see various people on social media saying they "quit" Retail - guys, Forever hasn't even launched yet. I saw the same posts when SoD was about to come out, and look where we are now.

I hope this new version of the game is good for you so you guys can finally move on.
