SHE IS FINALLY CLEAN

Jade looks crystal !!! Cheers to a clean bong!!!! Used a new cleaner I bought from my local smoke shop for the first time. Ended up having to do an extra scrub w the trusty ol salt and alcohol. Wish I took a pic of what it looked like before but be grateful I didn’t lol just know the cleaning was long overdue. Cheers my fellow stoners!!

what happened to my first Uniqlo hoodie after its first wash? ):

It’s like fading or something???? On the ribs and part of the sleeve and a lil bit on the back. First pic is without flash second is with flash. Third pic is the original hoodie after I wore it straight out the store, in broad daylight. This is my first Uniqlo hoodie I got to buy during my trip to Massachusetts (there’s no Uniqlo around me) and I fell in love with the color so this is a huge bummer to me especially since I washed it in a delicates cycle, with ALL stain remover pods that are free of dyes and synthetics, in cold water!!!!! And this was after the first wash!!!!!

Can somebody please help ): ChatGPT says to try dying it but I don’t think any dyes will mimic this exact purple 💔

are some of y’all blatantly racist or just slow?

Yesterday some white lady got mad at me because I tried to explain to her just because I’m Asian I was born in California. She refused to believe there was a possibility where I was born in America and not working at a nail salon or a Chinese restaurant. I’m not even Chinese. She was telling the group of people she was with “oh she’s Asian she’s used to the rain” I didnt know wtf that meant so I didn’t say anything. She later on found out I was born in California and she out loud said “wait you were born in America?!” Babe… I’m in my twenties does it really look like I came here on a boat or swam here??? Mind you my parents home country isn’t even near any water 😭😭😭😭

Have been living here for a little over a year now and I have never, EVER, had this many conversations with GROWN ADULTS about my ethnic background. And I’m not talking about nice conversations where people are genuinely interested, I mean conversations where I almost have to convince these people that I am not Chinese. Majority of the conversations they get upset at me when I try to explain not all Asians are Chinese people and not every person who is not white or black is not born in America.

Everywhere I go I am constantly being looked at like I’m a unicorn and majority of the time, I’m the odd one out at every event.

Is this normal for y’all? Has this city always lacked that much diversity where people are ignorant and slow?

EDIT: I guess the question I should be asking the Memphians is do y’all see the city progressing ever? 😭
