Are vitamins considered highly processed food?

I try to stay away from highly processed food and eat healthy. Vitamins are part of that lifestyle too. But then I looked at my vitamin labels and realized it takes a whole lot of processing to create vitamins. Now I’m considering removing those from my diet. What do you think? Do the benefits outweigh the risks?

Things you only discovered when you were older..

I’ll start. Bodywash, bidets, ear cleaning without Qtips, linen bedsheets, home made salad dressing, mood lighting. There is probably a lot more😊

Protecting my peace

I guess I just need to vent. My 95 year old dad lives with his 74 year old girlfriend in a big house full of stairs and slippery floors. I moved 2000 miles away from my own kids to be near my dad since I wasn’t near my mom when she passed.

What happened in the two years I’ve been living here is his girlfriend seemed to want to destroy our relationship. It started out with taking away the POA, then getting my dad to change his will (twice) then tantrums, then asking my dad to tell me “adieu” which is a French term for forever goodbye. It has been so hard for me these past few years. But once he said goodbye I have been feeling huge sense of relief. I feel free. Sometimes I think my dad knows that and wanted that deep down. But I’m not sure.

So after about 3 months of finally getting my mental health back, I’m in my PJs enjoying my evening on the couch watching YouTube. I hear the doorbell. I open my camera app and It’s his girlfriend. She’s alone, and she has a look on her face of desperation. This look would have certainly gotten me to open the door because my natural instinct is to help. But I didn’t. I had a flashback of all the kicks in the behind she’s given me and I actually didn’t open the door. At times I feel guilty, but I remind myself that she is capable of taking care of my dad.
