Is this the last update of Nuclear Throne ?

Vlambeer shutdown years ago and brought back again. The new dev didn't mention anything beside NT uppdate 100 and Ultrabug unreleased game . So it's safe to say this might be the last update for the game after 10th years of development

Nightmare mode is unfair and RNG-dependent. Here me out !

Ok, i got into this game for 300 hours and also played as a beta tester of the game, i got to say nightmare mode is a pain to play and devs didn't listen much to our comment. YEAH YEAH, CALL ME "SKILL ISSUE" WHATEVER

The first thing is the game just buff more hp +damage like danger 5 "ok, no big deal" until they decided to buff 10% speed. That is just insanely hard for horde survival game and some enemies can outspeed you and kill you instantly in early wave when you farm material

Second, the enemies spawn is so rush and a lot even from D5 standard. Enemies in wave 8-9 in abyss has some mutated brain squid dealing at least 10-13 damage to you and those guy has a lot of hps to kill and spam bullet a over the screen+ the eggs guys spawn like hell with 10% buff can corner you easily. Playing in crash zone somehow more struggle with the abyss when most enemies go like a missile toward you

Third, the environmental projectiles level is badly-design. The devs just spam 7 environmental projectiles and 3 dark level randomly in the game. The early level are ok until the mid and end game floor 8-19 this become a problem with the bullet deal the same damage with the boss can easily two-shots you if you don't careful with character with low hps and armor. The dark level is just annoying when you found out some stargazer enemies went into the tube and holy hell 3 of them spawn out of nowhere and go like a ping pong ball all over the screen shotting bullet everywhere. Overall, those levels are just uncreative

Fourth, mutated enemies design great but the devs overuse too much. Some mutated enemies spawned early i mentioned above. Some just go 120km/h and kill me dealing 23 damage even i have 17 armor ( not buff or curse) just a regular one wave 17 . Dealing with the boss is one thing but dealing with them is another stories. You killed the boss within 20 seconds now you have to survive with those guys spawning all at once.

Finally, some character is harder to play or nearly impossible with bad run. Captain, romance has to fighting enemies with damage increasing over the wave. Streamer has no moving and no longer farm material a lot due to bullet-hell level and 10% speed buff from enemies. Gangster must fight extra boss on dark level and bullet-hell level . The wounded is just tainted-lost at this point
