I hate Mylan

When I started HRT, I was given Sandoz. Once a week 0.5 patch. No big issues and I tolerated them well and I assumed all patches were similar. So a few months ago I was given Mylan. Ugh!! They are thick and huge and don’t stay on well even with Tegaderm. I’m also allergic to the adhesive as they itch and leave a bad rash when removed. I’m coming up on a refill and asked to have Sandoz if possible. My pharmacist acted like I was crazy when I said I didn’t tolerate the Mylan. She said she hadn’t heard of complaints on different brands. What?! Am I insane?!

Ok, venting session over.

Shane attracting walkers

Watching on Pluto. (The glitching is an experience but I’ll deal with it since it’s free. 🤣) Anyway, in Season Two when Shane and Rick try to dump Randall, why does Shane slice his finger to draw blood to wipe on the chain link fence? The walkers were coming to the fence anyway! Seemed unnecessary and risking infection.

Why was Lori angry?

So in Season 2, episode 1, Lori is obviously pissed at Rick. Was it because he killed Shane? Bc Carl put him down? Bc he kept the secret from the CDC? I’m guessing all the above, right? It just was never the same between them after that.

Crazy teacher story

Being Gen X, we all have that story about a teacher that sounds insane now but back in the early 80’s, it was accepted and no one said a thing. I’ll go first.

In junior high, my science teacher would throw his shoes at your head if you fell asleep in class. Same teacher, if you weren’t paying attention, would make you stand outside (LIKE OUTDOORS in winter months in Missouri) the classroom and watch the class from an open window. 🤣 and the rest of us 12 year olds just went along with it!! 🤣
