Gareth is one of my all time favorite MMCs. I have odd tastes because my 3 favorites (Gareth, Avi, Jeremy Montgomery from Jessie Walker's series) have nothing in common.

I just finished the Beast Who Bought Me. I'm in the middle of 6 books yet once I started that one, I finished it right away.

Caligula Clemenza feels so much like Gareth it's wild. Even his looks are described similarly.

If you love Gareth and want a MMC like him, give this book a go.

I need to get off parnate. I am fairly certain it has contributed to significant and worsening hair loss.

I can't switch to Nardil since it destroyed my liver.

Selgeline oral didn't work and patch is too expensive. We don't have Marplan in the US.

So I need MAOI alternatives. Granted I've tried 30 drugs over the years and none worked like an MAOI.

I meet with my doc tomorrow but he's not as knowledgable as I'd like.

Can anymore make some drug recommendations that I can bring up to him.

1. Lexapro (was on for months. Didn’t notice improvement; 2004)
2. Zoloft (was on for months. Didn’t notice improvement 2006)
3. Prozac (was on for years. Didn’t notice major improvement; 2010-2020)
4. Deplin (no improvement)
5. Pristiq - (was on for a few days. Made me exhausted 2008)
6. Remeron (was on for a few days. Made me exhausted)
7. Trintellix gave me bruising (2008)
8. Latuda - was on for a few months; made me feel strange and out of it (2017)
9. Lyrica - can’t recall
10. Lithium  - was on few a few months; made me feel strange and out of it (2018)
11. Zonegran - made my periods twice as long (2014)
12. Wellbutrin - tried in the 2000s and again 2021-2023. Didn’t notice much of anything
13. Viibryd - Rough side effects in the beginning. Was on from 2021-2023
14. Auvility - Was on for 1 month; pure exhaustion (Oct 2022)
15. Abilify - made me feel agitated and that inner restlessness; sometimes felt empty (June 2023)
16. Luvox - was on for about 1 week. Made me feel very off and out of it (May 2023)
17. Modafinil - was on for a few days. Made me feel very off and out of it (May 2023)
18. Clomipramine - Summer 2023 was not on long. Felt waves of emptiness. 
19. Nortriptyline - went up to maximum dosage; was too tired and no depression improvement (2018)
20. Trazadone - made me too tired (2021)
21. Medical MJ - MJ does not work for me; heightened anxiety and paranoia 
22. Buspar - 2021 - can’t recall exact side effects but I was not on it for long.
23. Lamictal (2025 didn't notice anything)
24. Tiagabine (2026 didn't notice anything)

I am allergic to Minoxidil and I want to see if anyone has had reversal of hair loss without it?

Current Regimen
Spiro 100mg (started 11/25)
Finasteride 1mg (started 2/26)
Topical Dut + Fin started (12/25 - I get major irritation and can't use it everyday)
Ketoconozole (started 11/25)
Laser Helmet (started 10/25 and used daily for 7 months but hair loss worsened)

I was diagnosed with AGA with a biopsy. All new hair growth is miniaturized. Blood work including Ferritin (80) is all good.

One thing I'm not certain about is did Kayden know it was Gareth in the very beginning? He is supposedly during a favor for Yulian but since his goal was to kill Gareth, I assume he knew it was Gareth at the party??

Also, what was the point of his being Gareth's professor. Surely that disguise wasn't necessary to kill Gareth.

I think it's more likely it was used as a plot device which worked. And that's fine. Unless I'm missing a larger reason for it.
