Bail for knife attacker Newfoundland

Canadian law is failing us. Gregg Musakanda attempted to kill Doug Payne the owner of a store in Corner Brook Newfoundland. Stalked outside his store dressed in all black, face covered, entered and stabbed Doug multiple times with a knife.

The charges listed by the RNC are:

Aggravated assault

Assault with a weapon

Assault causing bodily harm

Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Disguise with intent

Break and enter

Royal Newfoundland Constabulary

Gregg is now released on $500 bail and a curfew.

This is not protection from the police, this does not make the public feel safe. This is truly unacceptable, and confidence in the judicial system is dwindling.
