Vivir en Cusco/Perú ?

Hola.

Why are there so many Chinese in Twitter?

I have noticed a large number of users in Twitter and they post a lot of misogynistic content and often use harsh language against foreigners or Chinese women who have a relationship with them. As a foreigner I often felt a bit sad but I know it's just internet stupid stuff.

However isn't that illegal? I have heard China has many laws against such hate and their posts have reached numerous cases of virality.

Does posting in X put me in danger while living in China.

Of course asking a question like this does not mean a straightforward answer between yes or no and each case depends on the scale and how special it was for authorities to undertake it.

Now I have a X account which is controversial and appeals to a niche community and you know how internet is. It's not something good or educative you can expect. My account is not like those anti-China people or people who repeatedly attack the system, no not in my case but often I use controversial and internet slang language in some positions I maintain.

For example this and please do not judge. Its not my real life position, sometimes I am just bored

I sometimes called out Dengism for destroying moral and traditional values within China. I use harsher language like Chinese women are so obsessed with foreigners and they are even going out with blackies. Look again. Not my real life. Internet is a brewing ground for toxicity.

Now my account is under this:

Location by X is shown as in Singapore since i opened it with a VPN during the Singapore location,

I use fake full name. Nothing traceable

My account has low visibility like 97 but growing a bit

My post, two of them regarding such topics reached arkund 10k views but only after like 9 hours and it stops

But it is connected via China Android App store.

Email is gmail and no Chinese number in it (removed it).

However again based on what I described. Am I going to be detained and deported?

I know that by paper I have broken some laws including usage of VPN. However X is banned in China

So please an objective answer.

I need advice

don't know where to begin. I am a 21-year-old student and I had an awkward interaction, but to my fault, I probably escalated it.

So I was coming home, and I was really tired, and it was hot outside. I saw another foreigner. At first, he looked at me and waved, but I just looked since I was focused on my own thoughts and continued my day normally. I took some orders at the box where Taobao leaves packages. After that, I looked back and saw him with a phone. My mind immediately jumped to the conclusion that he was taking a picture of me since I looked tired, and you know how these things can turn out. I took a picture of him back, but with no bad intention. I just thought to keep it in case he did something (my mind thought like that).

After that, I entered the apartment building and looked out the window. He was following me and even looked mad, and he is right. I caused an unnecessary incident. After that, my mind went blank, and I quickly used the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator. I got scared because I didn't know how he would react. I thought he would fight me

When I came home, I felt guilty. I hated myself for thinking the worst. It's also that phone filming is common in China, and sometimes it worries me.

Now I am just scared and anxious that he might report me or get me detained. I know such a case is not truly serious. I didn't do anything with that photo, and it's even in the trash bin now. That's all. I took it from far away. I know you will judge me, but I already understand the mistake.

Thanks if you can understand. I am just worried and please be objective

Any good Barber in Guangzhou?

I have been to several barbershops, but in GZ they don't cut well. They just cut and that's it, leaving my hair with no good texture. Any barber you recommend that is professional?

Thanks

Let me clarify that I hold great affection and respect for China and its people. I believe it is a remarkable nation, and despite any imperfections, I still find it admirable for its achievements. However, I have encountered something that has caused me discomfort. Regardless of my personal experience, this post is not intended to criticize China out of bitterness, but rather to share some personal reflections.

I have been residing in China for seven months as a student, having arrived in 2025. Upon my arrival, I did not encounter the China I had known from online sources—that charming China where making friends was effortless, where the lively environment offered a sense of adventure for foreigners, and where one did not feel as isolated as it seems today. It appears I may have arrived at an unfavorable time, which is regrettable, as I was a child during the 2010s, and the post-pandemic world presents its own challenges.I recall one of my friends who arrived in 2015. His experience has differed significantly from mine. He largely experienced the golden age, whereas that is no longer the case for me. Opportunities are gradually diminishing. People no longer make an effort to engage in conversation. I acknowledge that language may be a factor, yet I believe even if I were proficient, they might not show sufficient interest. Moreover, following the pandemic, I observed that many individuals have faced business losses—as they informed me and I perceive that optimism has been shaken. This indicates that circumstances are not progressing favorably.

I have also encountered personal challenges previously and had hoped that China might bring about a positive change for me, but now I find myself in the same situation.

On a positive note, however, efficiency in China has improved. The system functions effectively, and the nation is advancing technologically. These developments reflect progress, which is commendable.

I am uncertain whether my perspective is correct or not.

Note: Samsung AI has been used for grammar check. Sorry for that

THESE PEOPLE WERE ALREADY FIGHTING EACH OTHER!!

So was your dear Continent. European Kingdoms kept going at each other's throats. The British and the French fought each other for 100 years. The European Kingdoms pillaged and enslaved other people, and somehow it isn't that big of a deal for these people.

If we go by their logic, then Muslim countries had a right to enslave Europe and destroy it because these people fought each other.

THEY COMMITTED HUMAN SACRIFICES.

As if Europe did not burn and humiliate people in the street who were accused of "Witchcraft". Many people were accused of being a Witch just for thinking differently outside the religious point of view regarding Life. Churches would even skin you to death if you questioned the existence of God because they would see it as blasphemy.

Human Sacrifices weren't just done by the Natives. Half of the world did such things too, such as some Asian countries. It was unfortunately a backwards practice, but Europe was no saint either in regards to human rights violations. It just applied them differently and for different reasons.Besides, who are these people to want to insult other people's intelligence as if the Spanish Empire came to conquer the Americas for moral reasons? Everybody knows that the entire aim was gold and prestige. The Spanish Empire destroyed the way of life of the Indigenous people and condemned them to rape and death.

SPANISH EMPIRE BROUGHT CIVILIZATION.

Shall I remind you that Spanish peasants smelled like poop (a major cause of the disease spread) and Indigenous people were hygienic?

Your Empire did not spread civilization. It already found a civilization and destroyed it and set it back, the effects of which we still see today as the Spanish wound.
