Hello, wanted to get some thoughts on whether to:

Option A -> get a design and build contractor to get all the work done based on what i need, or

Option B -> a contractor to handle only those that would require permits/plans and DIY the rest

Context: My unit was recently turned over (from DMCI) but i'm feeling off sa ilaw and paintwork was a bit lousy, mukang minadali. I only got it for personal use so i don't think i'll need a major renovation. I've talked to some contractors and recived sample BOQs, and i admit i'm learning a lot as i go along + encountered some shady ones. Happy to exchange ideas and learn further from the experienced folks here
