I have so much of respect for vegetarians

I would love to be a vegan/vegetarian for health and animal rights reasons, but I cannot. I'm such a carnivore; I love meat sm. I'm half desi, and my Austronesian mom's cooking growing up would always contain chicken, fish, or beef every day. I'm currently hosting a business client who's a mainlander and he is strictly vegetarian and no eggs. I'm taking him to vegetarian friendly restaraunts everyday and I'm secretly going insane. I live in a country where almost every food is cross-contaminated with shellfish, so I'm only bringing him to purely vegetarian joints like religious Indian restaurants or Chinese Buddhist restaurants. The food isn't bad at all, but ig as a carnivore it's lacking that extra pizzaz a piece of meat will give you lol. I do love veggies and eat them every day, but I need meat on the side. It's not me asking for advice; I very much could just grab a meat dish on my own after. I'm just realizing how unbuilt I am for this lifestyle lmfaooo. Much love and respect to the vegetarians, especially vegans.

Questions for fellow Indian Americans that have conceal carry permits

Depending on your state's local laws, what did you have to undergo to legally obtain a conceal carry license?

Did your race affect you in any way throughout the process?

Whether you do or don't live with any family members, what were their reactions?

I ask this question because, let's be real, our parents are immigrant fobs who are from India, and the rest of our extended families live there, and things like gun culture is very frowned upon no matter the countless times you try to educate them on the 2nd Amendment and that the rest of the world is not India and does not follow Indian culture

Have you ever been in a situation where you have or almost needed to use it?

"Indians are more successful and make more money than every other demographic out there"

Is the stupidest, utterly ridiculous cope since the first time I heard it. As a matter of fact, it is literally making racism worse for us when we boast about this shit. What good is having a fat wallet gonna do if you can't have a good social life because of attracting golddiggers who need to settle after having fun with hot chad and people having prejudice against you in general?

Also, anyone can literally go into comp sci, or medical school and get a degree whether they're Indian or not. If we're talking about the job market that is a separate problem

And I'm sorry but this isn't really a good stereotype as much as it sounds good on paper. Being reduced to a "smart person" instead of a normal individual is and should be exhausting, it's like they don't see anything else about you, and Indian parents literally put emphasis on education pAdhAi pAdhAi pAdhAi at the cost of everything else needed to make you a well rounded person

21M. Would like to talk about something on my mind

Just so you guys know, there wasn't anywhere else to put this. No way was I gonna go on subs like r/Vent or that r/ABCDesis, considering the type of people that frequent those subs and Reddit in general.

I have extreme fomo when I see couples either on social media or in public that're around my age, and I have resentment towards my parents for how much they stunted me. I feel like they're the reason why I'm introverted and why I'm so ugly, and why I have no confidence to approach/talk to girls. I also feel I would be nerdy, dull, boring, and most of all creepy if I were to approach mainly because I don't know what's right or wrong to say and I don't even know what to talk about with them that doesn't sound like job interview questions or generic shit.

The more I look at social media the more I'm afraid I'll stay a virgin until the unforeseeable future, because of the types of guys these women laugh and enjoy their lives with, and if somehow I do get with someone in my late 20s/early 30s I'm afraid it'll be because I'm the safety net/backup option for the woman after she's had her fun with better looking and more confident frat/football guys. Or if by some miracle I end up getting someone and it was just all in my head, it's gonna be the ugly leftovers.

I know I'm breaking a lot of rule 3 but I just really needed to get this off my chest I can't afford therapy and I felt I could get perspectives from other brown men here. Also I feel I need to emphasize I don't hate women and I don't think it's over but again I had to come here and say all this.

Thank you
