Built a vertical SaaS for government contractors that traces RFP requirements through delivery and audit

Sharing what I've been building in case it's useful to other vertical SaaS founders.

TraceOps is workflow intelligence for government contractors. The problem: GovCon teams pull requirements out of an RFP or contract into spreadsheets, and over time those requirements drift away from the original source language as work moves from bid to delivery to audit. When a customer review or audit hits, nobody can cleanly trace a deliverable back to the clause that required it.

What it does:

- Extracts requirements from RFPs, contracts, and CDRLs into one tracked list

- Assigns an owner and deadline to each one

- Keeps every requirement linked to its original FAR/DFARS, SOW, or CLIN language

- Exports clean handoff packages (JSON/CSV/PDF) backed by an append-only, hash-chained audit log

It covers the full lifecycle (capture, award, delivery, audit, release, maintenance) as separate modules rather than one generic tool.

Happy to talk through the build, the GovCon niche, or go-to-market in the comments.

Built TraceOps: workflow intelligence that carries GovCon requirements from RFP through delivery, audit, and maintenance

Most GovCon teams I talk to are still managing compliance out of spreadsheets and email threads. TraceOps was built to fix that.

It reads your solicitation and pulls the obligations out for you, then keeps them connected to the exact source language so nothing gets lost between proposal and execution:

- Extracts requirements from RFPs, contracts, and CDRLs into a single tracked list

- Tags an owner and deadline to every line item

- Links each requirement back to the original FAR/DFARS or SOW text, so audits and customer reviews are painless

- Exports clean handoff packages (JSON/CSV/PDF) backed by an append-only, hash-chained audit log

It's aimed at capture, program, and compliance folks at small-to-mid contractors and GovTech shops who need to prove compliance without slowing down.

Glad to talk through how it works in the comments.sc

TraceOps — turn dense GovCon contract requirements (FAR/DFARS, CDRLs) into traceable, owner-assigned tasks

TraceOps is a workflow intelligence platform for government contractors. It turns the messy front end of a program into structured, traceable execution: extract requirements from a solicitation, run a compliance gap analysis, and convert dense FAR/DFARS-style language and CDRLs into owner-assigned tasks. It then generates clean handoff packages (JSON/CSV/PDF) so teams execute against the exact contract obligations.

It's built around the full GovCon lifecycle — bid discovery, award conversion, delivery, audit readiness, release gating, and post-release maintenance — with an append-only, hash-chained audit log and tenant-isolated storage. Humans stay in control of every decision.

Built for program/product managers, capture leads, and compliance teams at 20–300 person contractors and GovTech firms.
