Ole Huffy Davidson has been doing the work commute every weekday since spring of last year on a warped, rusty back wheel, which was just bad enough that I didn’t want to run a rear brake.
Wore a cheap mtb front down to the cords in just a few short months as a result, and right on time a donor bike turned up yesterday with these wide rims and 2.125” tires that just happened to fit perfectly.
After riding to work and back today the thing that struck me the most was how I’ve never felt like I had to countersteer a bicycle before, the shape of those tires made this feel like a whole different bike! 😁

As an amateur photographer I think I’m hooked.
