Is there a Printify database anywhere of their vendors with real data?

I use Printify, but because it seems not to enforce any shipping logistics SLAs (Service Level Agreements) with its vendors, I feel we need to keep a separate database so we know how vendors handle what and can set our product expectations and descriptions accordingly.

For example, I would like to know whether a vendor consistently ships their products on the day/evening they print the labels, OR if they are one of the vendors who will print a label (calling it shipped) days before it ever ships.

I would like to know if they use a carrier that does not necessarily scan the receipt of their packages the same day/evening (OnTrac).

I would like to know the real production time/window for a product compared to the published production days on Printify's site.

These and other factors affect expectation-setting for our own production descriptions and customer service.

We can no longer save images to our own collection folders anymore?

We can no longer save images to our own collection folders anymore? It's now one giant mess of all images?

Thanks for the support!

Just wanted to pop on and say thank you for the tech support. I was having problems with my Mac on the latest and greatest version, and with some online hand-holding, it's sorted out! Yeah!

Imagine Your Photos - can you get an account?

This is the second time (once in 2024) I'm trying to sign up for an Imagine Your Photo account. But I haven't gotten a reply on my account sign up submission. Also, no one seems to answer the customer service number. Yet, they are a good supplier on Printify? They have some products I need that Printify doesn't offer, so I wanted to create a direct account and offer them that way. Is it just me? https://www.iypstore.com/

In 2024, same thing. No reply at all. Sent email to customer service ... nothing. I really like their products.

FACT:
So, when you sync printify images to Shopify, you pretty much lose all knowledge of the originating variant EXCEPT for the primary image of each variant. Whoohoo. Anyone disagree?

FACT:
You can vibe-code your way in Shopify to limit the display of images to specific variants. I've seen a couple of approaches. 1. You hard assign the order of all of the images to align with your variants and make assumptions. But you lose the ability for your second image be something else on hover behavior on collections. 2. You add a metafield for the allowed files on the Variant. Yup. That is the way to me.

BUT:
You still have to manually go assign all those bloody values. NOT so easy when the imported image names are meaningless. And especially a PITA on tiny differences visually like cell phone cases -- where you can have 70-100 images.

After much drama, I'm using exports via Printify's API to a Google Sheet and Matrixify exports to figure out the right image for the right variant. Here is the one big assumption that let's that happen:

The sequence of Printify's image sync is all PRIMARY images first in the variant order, then for all eligible secondary images, so they CAN be matched up via that sequence. Lordy. WHY OH WHY the API from Printify to Shopify strips out all known variant info is quite beyond me.

OR, am I missing something obvious for an easier way???
