I have a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation and I’m thinking about removing the factory tow hitch for a cleaner, more streamlined rear-end look.
From what I can see, it looks like it’s only held on by 4 (8 total) bolts and nuts. Has anyone taken theirs off? Is it really as simple as removing those 4 bolts/nuts, or are there any complications (wiring, bumper support, etc.)?

Edit - Goddammit, you arm-twisting savages win. Hitch stays. You guys are clearly Opie & Anthony alumni — that was some premium-grade ball-busting!
